● Provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for patients to explore and express their feelings.

● Offer emotional support to patients, their families, and caregivers through the
art-making process, facilitate family involvement in the creative process when appropriate, fostering communication and connection.
● Work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other team members to develop personalized care plans.
● Attend interdisciplinary team meetings (IDG) to share insights from art therapy sessions and contribute to holistic care discussions.
● Communicate with the hospice care team regarding the patient’s progress, emotional well-being, and any notable developments in the therapy process.
● Maintain accurate and timely records of art therapy sessions, assessments, and patient progress notes.
